Westlake TKD Instructors
The Westlake Taekwondo Plus Staff has a combined total of over 50 years of Taekwondo experience. Chief Instructor Tim McCulloch, 5th Degree Black Belt, guides this exceptional team. Members of this team include Certified Instructors Glenda McCulloch, Sean Bragg, Craig Witt, Tal Einav, and Katie Bandera.
Tim McCulloch began his training in 1990 under Jim Graden in Largo, FL. Moving to Austin, TX in 1991 he began training in Hapkido and Taekwondo. In the summer of 1993, Master Richard Johnson was discovered and a career was born. Under Master Richard Johnson’s guidance, Mr. McCulloch has been an ITA Certified Instructor since 1996 and has owned and operated his own school since 1998. The ITA has over 175 licensed and individually owned locations throughout the US and England all following professional authentic standards of certification. Tim McCulloch has been trained to teach CDT (a program of non-deadly self-defense), Native Korean Swords & Han Mu Do. 
Competing in 54 tournaments over the last 10 years, Mr. McCulloch was the 2002, 2003, 2004, & 2006 ITA Grand Champion for the VIP Men’s Division. Finishing 1st in all categories in 2002, he has been ranked no lower than 6th since 2000 with top ten awards as far back as 1995.Mr. McCulloch continues to train formally under the supervision of his instructor, Master Richard Johnson. He has also attended seminars and workouts led by Grand Master Craig Kollars, Grand Master Bert Kollars, Grand Master Art Monroe, Senior Master James Bailey, Senior Master Marv Conway, Senior Master Rick Hall, Senior Master Terry Newton and Master Chris Jackson.
Mr. McCulloch received a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas. He is the proud father of 5 (2 girls and 3 boys) ranging from ages 4 to over 20. He is the lucky husband of Glenda McCulloch whom he has cherished since meeting in college. His goal is to leave this world a better place through sound judgment, moral character, and the understanding that the good things in life are not objects, they are relationships that grow through hard work and dedication.
